History
Founded in 1982 by Thomas L. Zampini, American Backplane,
Inc. has grown from modest beginnings in a small leased building
to two presently owned buildings: a 65,000 square foot building
in Morris, CT and a 15,000 square foot building in Goshen,
CT. The company has a self-generated cash flow due to its
debt free strong financial position. American Backplane's
continual success relies on market diversification and long
term customer relationships that are based on high quality,
on-time performances.
American Backplane business began with our extensive experience
in connector, backplane, application tooling, cable, and wire
harness technologies. In 1982, we added printed circuit boards
and integrated our technologies into control panels, complete
systems, and subsystem solutions.
For our future growth, we plan to continue to improve all
technologies and lean manufacturing, and to promote a TQM
culture. Our customer's success is our future.
