Quality
At
American Backplane, the Quality Assurance Manager reports
to the president of the company.
Mandatory operational
process, cross training, and simple visual procedures
enable our quality organization to operate in an efficient
and effective manner.
Dock to Stock Supplier
Certification is another American Backplane accomplishment
with major customers. This rating is due to our consistent,
above average quality level and on time deliveries.
Our quality
culture is based on total quality management and long-term
relationships with customers and suppliers. Our customers
trust our company to provide a high quality and reliable
product. Our goal is to exceed our customer's expectations.
American Backplane systems and work instructions are
based on the Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC), Mil-Standards,
Total Quality Management, and ISO 9002 standards.
Testing
All
products at American Backplane are 100 percent tested,
with full burn-in capabilities. We provide a test chamber
and monitor functional characteristics of products.
For all products, our test-engineering group works hand
in hand with our customers to develop function test
criteria. American Backplane has developed an expandable,
universal program box and panel tester, which saves
time where as a dedicated tester would not be required.
American Backplane
also has affiliate partners who provide ATE Testing
for high volume printed circuit boards. Furthermore,
American Backplane maintains an Electrostatic Discharge
(ESD) program through out the entire plant.
